Yggdrasil Gaming’s Tut’s Twister Slot is a 5-reel, 4-row video slot with 25 paylines. From 0.25 to 125 EUR, all devices can play it.
Instead of a standard free spins game where a player is granted a certain amount of free spins after landing scatter symbols, it offers two features instead: the Twister feature and Twister collections, which are described in more depth below.
Red hearts, purple spades, green clubs, and blue diamonds are used to symbolize the four low value symbols. The four premium symbols are pots of gold, birds, rings, and scrolls, with the pot of gold having the highest payout for five of a kind at 5.2x. A Wild emblem with the face of a demonic pharaoh is also present.
Tut’s Twister Slot: Feature
Sourced from the Slot777 blog, Tut’s Twister Slot is launched when 2 or more wilds are landed on a basic game spin. To turn a whole column wild, Tut will randomly select one of the wilds and turn it into a twister.
The player is then given more chances to win while the wild twister column advances each wild with each additional walking wild respin. During each respin, fresh wilds that appear on the screen transform into walking wilds that face the tornado.
If the player is able to collect a count of at least three wilds that have become walking wilds during the game, a multiplier is awarded on all spins for the remainder of the twister feature. When three wilds appear on the screen during respins, the multiplier begins at 2x and rises by one for each additional set of three wilds.
As long as one wild animal is still walking, the twister feature keeps awarding respins. When there are no more wilds to walk toward the tornado, the player is given one more respin to land at least one more wild and keep the twister mode active. If no wilds appear during the last-chance feature, all wilds absorbed by the twister are distributed randomly on any position other than the wild column, and any remaining winnings are doubled by the preceding spin’s multiplier.

Tut’s Twister: Collections
Above reels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, there are 3, 4, 5, 4, and 3 hieroglyphic symbols, respectively. When a reel is successfully filled with all hieroglyphic symbols, the player can trigger a collection bonus.
A hieroglyphic symbol appears randomly when exactly one wild symbol appears on the reels. The symbol will fill in if it corresponds to any of the empty hieroglyphic symbols above the reel where the wild symbol landed.
The feature begins, and Tut turns the one wild symbol into a twister as the reels respin once the last blank hieroglyphic symbol for a particular reel is filled up. Each hieroglyphic symbol from the triggering reel is randomly fired on spots on the reel during the initial respin of the twister collection feature, the positions from the wild twister column being the only exception.
As each reel adds at least 3 wilds, the multiplier is increased by the number of wilds that are shot onto the screen. This ensures that the multiplier will begin at least at a 2x multiplier.
Once the accumulated hieroglyphics are shown on the reels, any further wilds that land are also transformed into walking wilds and add to the multiplier total. The wilds then behave just as they do in the ordinary Twister feature as the reels respin.
Conclusion
Actually, this is one of the few Yggdrasil slots that we haven’t been too impressed with in terms of production in recent years. Although it’s not terrible, it doesn’t quite match the high standard we know they are capable of.
Tut’s Twister Slot is initially a little difficult to understand, and it takes some time to grasp how the features work. Regular mode of the game is completely unfunny and has no promise at all. Instead, players rely on the Twister features, particularly the free spins game that is started by gathering hieroglyphic symbols, in the hopes of receiving additional multipliers, which appears to be the only chance of getting a respectable win.
